The McCaffrey Grandkids

This is a rarity but we managed to stop the 4 kids long enough to get a few pictures. Here is Sean, Andrew, Brandon and Nicole and the last picture with Grandma.

This Past Weekend

This past weekend Mom, the kids and I went to the camper on Thursday. We got up early on Friday and headed to Centre Hall for the yard sales. Jeff Dawson was to go along with us too but Thursday evening late he got a call that his mother had passed away. Please keep Jeff and his family in your prayers. We left for Centre Hall at 7am (yes the kids were up and ready). We arrived about 45 minutes later in Centre Hall. We parked right off of 192 and met cousins Lydia, Julie and Andrew, and family friend Cheryl (might as well be related has been around for as long as I can remember). We started yard saling and walked the entire place down Main Street and did do the back streets too. Needless to say we were exhausted until we were done, but we had a great time!! We didn't even fill the trunk, didn't buy all that much actually. Mom did get to see a few people she knew and some family. I think this will be a family tradition, a yearly adventure. Dad was away in Lancaster at some meetings for the town so he didn't join us at the camper until Friday evening. This weekend at the camper was the fireworks. Here is also a picture of a black snake that someone had killed. The snake picture will probably only be enjoyed by my nephew, Tradd. Now it is time to start getting ready for the 4th of July and Olympic week.

Nature at it's Finest

Here is a picture of a young groundhog who lives around the area. The next picture is of duck eggs that were layed out by our garage but the duck has since abandoned them. The beautiful red cardinal was sitting out front on the pole when I was taking pictures of the groundhog. The baby birds in the nest were at Mom and Dads camper. They had a nest on Dads ladder he had hanging on the shed. The pictures of the flowers are from my Mother in laws garden. The beautiful lilly was planted after Francis passed away and has been huge this year. The yellow rose bush is also really full this year. Just thought I would add some of Gods creations for all of us who don't take the time to smell the roses.

Summer Fun

Here are some pictures from our trip to Knoebels with Karen (Chris sister), Sean, and Andrew and Grandma went too. All the kids (big and small) had a great time. We got there around noon and we got back home about 10pm. It was a full day but a fun one.
