The neat part about the tournament (for me) was they had a tent set up for Sony. They allowed you to use of their cameras and then they burnt a cd for you. You only had to give them your drivers license and it was all free. I did take my camera along but why not try theirs. It had a super zoom and you could continuously click one after another. I really enjoyed the camera. They told us it was 11 hundred dollars. I guess I better just check into getting a bigger lens for mine.

News Flash.................
This is for anyone who doesn't read my brothers blog, but does read mine. The big news is that we are expecting another niece. They had their ultrasound and if you click on Scott's blog you will get to see the pictures. We are all very excited for them. They are coming for a visit the end of July and we can't wait to spoil the kids. It will be great to see all of them. We do plan to spend time at the campers with them, during that week. Hopefully we will all get some relaxing time together. I did talk to Scott and he is VERY excited about another daughter on the way. Well just wanted to share the news with everyone. Please keep the whole family in your prayers next month as they travel to Ohio and Pa. Thanks!!
Fun Day at Knoebels

Mom and I took the kids to Knoebels today, what a perfect day. The lines weren't to bad, we really didn't have to stand in long lines at all. The weather was perfect, a nice breeze. The kids rode the roller coasters and as many rides as they could. Mom rode the roundy rounds and I rode the roller coasters with them. This one ride they rode, I call the hamster wheel. They had to ride it twice once they got the hang of making the wheel go all the way around.

Yard Sale Weekend at Camp Ground

We have just returned from the camper, we went over Thursday and started setting up for the yard sale. Needless to say we started selling things Thursday as we sat up and then opened up Friday and did a great business, but the huge day was Saturday we had people there at 7am. We really sold a lot and made some good money. It always seems like if I have something I want to sell and can't get rid of it at home yard sales I can usually get rid of it over there. Lots of Mennonite and Amish people come in to buy too. The weather was wonderful all weekend. I took a very full truck and trailer and van load over and came home with only a few things in the truck. I will take some of the stuff to the local church. Vern and Nancy came over to visit too and brought some really cute kittens to give away, they had 5 and left with 3. Here is one on Nicole sound asleep, this is the mellow one. No we did NOT take one home with us, two dogs are enough!! If anyone wants one just call us, we can make arrangements for you to get one.
Storm on June 10th
On Tuesday, June 10th they were calling for bad storms and we got them! The kids and I ran to Walmart and got stuck there until things started to clear up. The power went off and on a few times and it was really black outside. Didn't look like storm when we left, and we were only gone about a half hour. When we returned home we found lots of trees down along the roads that we had to dodge and even saw one on a house. We were coming down the our street and saw one of the neighbors out and they said we had no power. I looked down further and saw a tree down. It was the neighbors and it took out the phone line too. Chris was at work and they asked to borrow his chain saw, I went around the corner to go in the house and saw our back yard. We had lots of trees down and it flipped my glass table top bar, but did not break the top and it flipped over the gas grill and many other things in our yard. It took 16 neighbors and my Mom and Dad to help clean up our yard but we did get it done and Chris was really shocked when he got home the next morning. I have enclosed some pictures for everyone to see. The one picture is the neighbors screen house hanging over our fence, it totally destroyed it.

Hershey Park
Well today I had the pleasure of accompanying our seniors to Hershey park for there class trip. They had graduation practice in the morning and then we left for Hershey about 9am. I had three children and we had a wonderful time. We did have about a half hour of rain but we sat under roof where it was dry. The kids rode lots of roller coasters and other rides. Three other teachers hooked up with us and joined us for most of the day, which was nice. I really enjoyed the day and riding with the kids. I think they had a memorable senior trip. What a great group of kids!

Brandons Washington, DC trip
Brandon's 8th grade class took a trip to Washington, DC on Friday, May, 30th. Chris chaperoned the trip. They left at 6am and returned at 11pm. It was a loooong day and it was warm in DC that day too, but they all had a great time. Please ignore the dates on the pictures we forgot to set the date. Here are a few sites they saw. Enjoy!!
