First Day of School

Here are pictures from the first day of school. School started Monday, Aug. 25th. Brandon is a freshman in high school (Wow, where did the time go?) and Nicole is in 7th grade. Everyone had a wonderful first day. They both go to school with me and Nicole goes home with me. As for Brandon, he picks up his soccer bag and heads for the field until 5pm. Then if he is lucky it his home for dinner but some nights it is grab a bite and head for band practice. Except for those nights Nicole has soccer practice at 6pm. Needless to say we are always BUSY! And you wonder why my blog isn't updated.......................

The 2008 Band Show Preview

Here is Brandon before the show began.

Brandon at the beginning of the preview show.

The week before school has been BUSY, we had soccer practice 8am to 10am then right to band practice 10am to noon. Then there was a break until 4pm to 6pm soccer or sometimes it was 6pm to 7pm soccer and when soccer was over he headed to band until 8:30pm. Needless to say he was exhausted!! The band show is looking good, the first football game is Friday, Aug 29th at home.

First High School Soccer Scrimmage

Brandon is now

playing High school soccer. The week before school started we traveled to Lake Lehman for a scrimmage. Brandon is #19, if you can pick him out.

Brandon's 14th Birthday

Here are a few pictures of Brandon's birthday party at the camp ground. We had lots of family and friends visiting that day. The weather was beautiful!! Brandon received money to purchase a Haro bike he has been wanting and a Bloomsburg Panther blanket and a Civil War game for his PS2. He had two friends over from the camp ground and they put up a tent and all three boys slept over too. Brandon said he had a wonderful birthday!!

New Years eve Party at the Camp ground and Fun had by ALL

Here are the Dawsons and Strunks partying at the New Years Eve Party. even Baby New Year made an appearance at midnight (or 11pm). Who is that masked man at bingo? It still didn't give him any luck but it did me, thanks Jeff! I told Jeff I would have to post that the McCaffreys and Fraziers are his new best friends since his old ones don't show up to camp anymore. We did have a GREAT time playing bocco ball Saturday evening into the night (way past Jeffs bedtime). We had to result to using a glow stick to play with since we couldn't see the ball and then had to move up under the street light. Brandon and Jerri did really well, Jerri caught on fast, then there was Jeff and Jim (Wayne when Jim had to walk the dog) but what can you say having the injured one on the team and Chris and I. We even had mighty man throw the glow stick on the pavilion roof, thanks to Jim we were able to retrieve it and continue to play.

Golf Cart Rodeo

Here you see Mom and Dad doing the golf cart rodeo at the camp ground last Saturday. None of us placed but we had fun doing it.
