Memorial Day Weekend
We left Friday after school for the camper and we had a full van. Chris came over Saturday morning. We had friends over on Saturday and we all had a great time. Maxine came over on Saturday and stayed until Monday, she enjoyed herself. We played lots of games, like washers and ladder ball. Dee and Dan came over to our camper and we ate with them and we ate at there camper too. Mom and Dad came over for meals too with us. We started the fire Saturday and it kept going until Monday when we left. We had lots of good food and the company was great too. We really hated to see the weekend end, we all kind of drug our feet about leaving. It was great to see everyone and the camp ground was full. Hope everyone had a relaxing holiday weekend like we did. Now it is back to work.

Latest News
Well, yesterday we took Penny (the basset hound) to the vet for her regular check up and rabies shot. We figured we would get this done before heading to the camper for the weekend. We thought she might have a bladder infection and told the Dr. well he said that was possible and they checked her urine. We found out she has diabetes. We will have to take her to the vet one day for a whole day so they can determine her insulin amount. Then we will be giving her a shot twice a day and checking her sugar levels. WOW!! The doctor told us that the initial check of the insulin will be the most expensive part. So a routine check up turned into a major ordeal. That's life at our house. Just when you think you might get ahead something changes that.

God's Creations

Just thought I would share this with everyone. Dee, the kids and I were traveling home from Wilkes Barre when we got to see this beautiful rainbow. If you look closer you will see it is a double. The rainbow was extremely bright and just looked like it touched down in the woods. Thank goodness for cell phones with cameras. Hope Everyone has a wonderful day!

What a Crazy Week
Well here it is Mother's Day. We had one crazy week as you can see from the title of this blog posting. We had to run somewhere every night. It was concerts and soccer but we were on the go constantly. It was so good to have no soccer game on Saturday. On Friday Brandon went to Hershey Park with the chorus. They competed in Mt. Joy at the high school and scored 88 out of 100 which gave them and excellent score (they were graded by, Good, Excellent and Superior) and they only missed superior by 2 points. I chaperoned the trip which was nice. The kids were great but the weather had a lot to be desired. It rained and hard at times, so we were wet and cold. With the rain some of the rides were not running (mainly roller coasters). It stopped raining about 3pm, the kids were excited and headed for the roller coasters. They were only able to ride one because since they were shut down most of the day the lines were so long, one had a 2 hour wait. We left the park at 5:30 and returned about 8pm. Minus the rain it was a nice day. Brandon and I headed to the camper (Nicole was already there with Mom and Dad), we got there about 10pm. We were all tired and headed right to bed. Needless to say we all slept in Saturday and we enjoyed the day just relaxing. Dee and I just kind of hung out most of the day. I really enjoyed the day, we did head into Green Ridge and got lunch (very delightful) and stopped at Weis for a few groceries. After Dee and I ate to much we decided to be healthy and walk the camp ground, we did well. Then it was time for us to head to Good Will Restaurant in Montandon to meet up with the inlaws for our Mothers day meal. It was so nice, there was 11 of us. My parents went and Karen and Ed were here and Maxine. The food was really good as always. Sunday we headed to Turbotville for Brandon's soccer game. We tend to spend Mothers Day on a soccer field somewhere. The game was really good and the final score was a tie score 1 to 1. Hey if you can't win at least tie it. They all played hard (both teams). Brandon mowed the grass tonight before the rain comes again. He is working on making money to buy a new bike. Well this week looks a little slower and notice I did say a little. Hope all had a good Mothers Day!! Have a good week ahead!
